Hassler`s Restaurant in Norman

Don’t go on game weekends. Slow service (really busy), no water for a while (ran out of cups) and no toast with breakfast (ran slow on it and done before it ever arrived ) and no credit on the toast because we ordered water instead of coffee. Will not be back.

I Absolutely love this place , some of the best " good ole home cooking" around. The staff is super friendly and very efficient. ...Their biscuits and gravy are the best!

Hassler's Cafe is an easy place to pop in for a quick breakfastor lunch. Ive been here 2 or 3 times over the last year, and each time, we were met with friendly waitstaff, pretty quick service and really decent food! Try out their specials! Also, it seems here no matfer what you order here, its a generous plate of food, for low prices. Average cost here is anout 7 -8 dollars a person. Average time spent at Hasslers is about 20-30 minutes. Also they only take cash here, so dont come with a card or youll have to go next door to an ATM.

I used to come here when I worked with my dad a while ago, we were here so much they new us lol. Awesome people, amazing food, great service. It's an amazing restaurant and wholeheartedly recommend coming here.

Had the steak and eggs with home fries, my fiance had the eggs benedict. We were both very impressed, the steak was amazing. The service was great as well. Prices were fair, new favorite breakfast place for sure!

Great casual restaurant with fast service and tasty coffee! If you get Amie as a server, you are in for a treat. She always has a fantastic attitude. This place is cash only, so make sure to bring cash when you come.

Hassler's is every comfort you want. The minute you walk in, life slows down, and you can take a deep breath. Old cafe seating, incredible service, good old-fashioned food (breakfast is always my favorite). Hassler's can help relieve you of some hassles for an hour or so. This place is like putting on your comfy robe and slippers. It just fits. Aahhhh.

Excellent food as always. And the girls there are too sweet! If you are in Norman, be sure to eat here.

Server told me that she had to charge me for a coffee and dr pepper. I asked her why she would have to charge me for both if I didn't drink the coffee. She said she would get told on? I don't get why you would HAVE to charge someome for something they didn't like and didN'T drink! This place is a joke!

Great breakfast and the service was perfect. My coffee cup was never less than half full.

They were a little backed up in the kitchen, but the manager let us know before hand. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. She was running all over the place helping customers. The food was great! I got the two egg breakfast with bacon. The bacon was perfect! Highly recommend this place! My husband and I had a great experience.

We ate lunch here because my husband delivered milk to the hiland dairy across the street. Really friendly staff, very reasonable prices. I had the Greek omelet and it was Amazing. My husband had stock and eggs, he said it was fantastic too!

I had the BBQ sandwich special, with "gravy fries." Everything was delicious except for the Diet Coke which had a chemical taste. I'll keep asking for Diet Dr.Pepper until they get tired of me and begin stocking it.

This is a great little mom and pop diner, if everyplace in town is booked up, we know we can count on our little secret diner to get us in quicker. Foods great and always friendly service.

Great food, good sized portions

Meal itself was good and server was friendly. My only slight complaint was the biscuit that came with my biscuit and gravy. It appeared to be a dinner roll disguised as a biscuit. It legitimately looked like a dinner roll since it wasn't the same consistency of a breakfast biscuit, but.....who knows.

Good down home cooking

Good, old-fashioned restaurant; great choice for a comfy, cozy breakfast on those lazy weekend mornings. But you better have cash - they don't accept debit or credit cards!

Great service. Small portions for what you pay. Foods okay nothing special. Plus a big downside to that place it's only cash and check only. So it's a inconvenience for most people.

Awesome hole in the wall restaurant. Great food, great prices. I have been here numerous times and never ever been disappointed. Just remember, they don't take cards.

Hassler's has been around forever and is much nicer since they eliminated the Smoking Room.They don't take credit cards, so be sure to bring American Money. You can tell what kind of joint this is when you see the sign by the daily special whiteboard, that says "Today's Menu: Two items--Take it or leave it!" Also a sign above the cash register that reminds you that they don't take credit cards "In God we trust all others cash!"My favorite is the breakfast sirloin steak with scrambled eggs and hash browns. It comes with toast, but you don't have to whine too much to substitute a biscuit and gravy. They close at 2:00, so it's breakfast and lunch only.

Not what it used to be. The "friendly, family" atmosphere is gone. Our waitress must have been using her last nerve to finish out her shift. She was not at all pleasant from minute one about taking our order. Was told she didn't have straws for our drinks, we waited patiently while she waited for food to take to other tables, then we had to go ask for them. There was some confusion about our order, she reported it to the manager and it went downhill from there. The manager was very politely rude...this has always been one of our family favorites....but when the service is so bad....it makes the food nasty going down. WE WON'T BE BACK AND WILL TELL OTHER FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!!

Was better this time but was bothered by the fact that when I went to the restroom, I came out and I saw biscuits sitting on a deep freezer not two steps from the toilet

The food is ok, but over salted. I did not enjoy being told I was "lucky" to get my food because I ordered at 1:30 P.M. on a Sunday. This establishment will not be "lucky" to have me as a customer again, (I typically tip 30% to 35%). Also, this is a cash only establishment.

Always good food, cooked to perfection. They will make you happy. If it is not right, they will make it right.

Their service is amazing, fast and dependable, and the food is always good. I've been going there since I was little, and I have always had great service
